7 Most Common Pressure Washing Questions We Get Asked

Curious about what type of services we offer, how much we charge, or what to expect from a pressure washing service? Here are 7 of the most common pressure washing questions we get asked.

1. How do I know if it’s time to pressure wash?

The best way to determine if it’s time to call a pressure washing/soft washing service is to observe and look for signs your home needs it. Whenever algae/dirt appears on the side or trim of your house, black streaks show up on your roof, or your concrete turns darker color when it rains, it’s time to schedule a pressure wash! Generally speaking, you should get your driveway pressure washed once a year, your house pressure washed every 1.5-2 years, and your roof pressure washed every 5 years.

2. Are you insured?

Yes! We are a registered LLC and have general liability insurance to cover any potential property damage.

3. Do you offer any discounts or have any coupons for repeat customers?

We don’t currently have any special promotions going on, but the best way to learn of specials is to follow us on social media! We also offer slightly lower prices if the same service has been done recently (after all, the more regularly you call us, the cleaner your home will be!)

4. Do you use soaps or chemicals? Are they safe for pets and kids?

We use both chemicals and soaps, but they are very diluted by the time we spray them onto houses. That being said, it isn’t safe for your pets or children to come into direct contact with them, as they might cause irritation. So before we begin pressure/soft washing, we will ask you to put your pets up/distance them from the area being washed and have your children play elsewhere. After the rinsing process, however, everything is safe to touch.

5. Will pressure washing hurt my lawn and plants?

No, the strength of the chemicals is generally not strong enough to damage most plants or grass, but we do take precautions like watering all surrounding landscapes or covering plants when stronger ratios of chemicals are needed.

6. How long does it take?

It takes us around 2 hours to do a typical house wash. If you need to service your business or a larger area like a parking lot, though, just let us know and we can give you a better idea of how long a project of that size would take.

7. What methods of payment do you take?

With COVID, generally, we email invoices and our customers make payment via debit or credit card, Venmo, or PayPal. But we also accept cash and checks.
